My BEST Tip on Getting More Content Shares

My BEST Tip on Getting More Content Shares

Every few months or so I look at my social content and ask myself:

“What can I do to get people to share it more?”

I’ll think about Marketing by having a stronger call to action or promoting on Twitter more or reaching out to influencers. I’ll think about SEO and improving my titles, descriptions, playlists, and tags. I’ll think about analytics and looking at what my best performing videos are and how I can replicate that success. On and on.

All of that helps… but it’s a small game.

The real thing that I keep coming back to is that the content I’m making just needs to get better. It’s not some trick or tactic that I’m missing. It just needs to be better. Want to know the biggest secret to getting someone to share your content? Give them something they actually want to share. Give them something so good that they insta-like it and insta-share it.

And that sucks.

Because that’s a lot of hard work. Because it would be great to think that there is one magic little thing that I just need to do and if I do that, everything will get so much better… but there isn’t. So if you’re frustrated that your content isn’t getting enough shares, views, or likes you can look at your marketing, SEO, analytics, or whatever other magic solution you think is out there… but it’s all a small game.

The big win is in just making better content. Go do that and you’ll win.

Some used the ideas in this book to build multi-billion-dollar businesses. I’ll give you the simple-yet-powerful formula that they used (and you can) to realize your dreams. Get yours.

Increased sales are directly related to a trusted brand persona, which is built over time through daily interactions and content. Use these tips to attract the right leaders in your industry:

You can improve your chances of being recommended by focusing on a select number influencers, and adding meaningful comments online. The better quality of content that you provide will also attract a high-quality community.
  • Go beyond just one or two social networks – As updates on the major social networks continue brands need to be engaging on other social platforms that they have not been previously active in. This will become more important as far as  reaching out further to people who are mainly using their mobile devices rather than their laptops or computers.
  • Start engaging and interacting in professional social media groups – These niche communities are where your business can start focusing building strong relationships with those who will later regard you as a leader in your industry. Focus on those who are mostly likely to be interested in what you have to offer as in the future they could become your strongest brand advocates.
