Hi everyone, I’m sort of at a loss here.
I’m solo marketing a product for my employer that just… won’t sell. I’m running email drip campaigns to a solid list (with an open rate of 34%), I’m posting on social, I’m running Google Ads and remarketing campaigns, I’ve designed a stellar landing page, I wrote the copy myself (and I consider myself a damn good copywriter). We have a YouTube Channel with 1700 subscribers that we post to weekly. We have a podcast. I’m writing new blogs. I’ve tried changing up the messaging.
I am exhausted AND IT STILL WON’T SELL.
What do I DO? My boss is getting frustrated because nothing is converting. It’s an online course, priced at $549. It teaches people how to hire a real estate assistant. Right now, we’re running a BOGO holiday promotion and we haven’t sold any of those, either.
The few people who HAVE bought the course over the last few months absolutely loved it, and converted into more sales.
Now, I know that tons of Americans have been laid off and many employers are struggling. That definitely is a factor. Is there just no market for it? I came on board after the market research portion, but she insists there is.
But I’m just feeling so defeated. It’s a marketers worst nightmare.
I have only been running paid ads for a month, but we aren’t seeing a return on our investment.
I’ve got 5 years of experience and I’m feeling a little lost. Maybe some of you who have been here could weigh in and tell me how it played out/what you did? Thanks in advance.
