Hello.. so I have my degree in art history and humanities but did an internship at an art museum for their marketing.
I work as a pharmacy technician bc it’s good pay for now. But I want to get into the marketing world and start my professional career as I finish my marketing degree… and I got interviews for these companies but every. Single. Interview. Was the same???
They talk about how they need someone to start as soon as possible. Interview is via zoom with 10+ people and they go over how they’ll train you and after the initial short interview they send out a link for questions and it’s like that until the interviews get longer and the groups get smaller. But each time there’s a questioner sent out after the zoom interview and all of these companies positions were the same.
They train you for 2-4 weeks (pay is 500-700 weekly)
So here it’s 6 months (pay is 800-1200 weekly)
•you do HR
•legal aspect of the business
•financial aspect too
(It’s 3 months here with a pay of 75K and double commissions)
•result of business
Pay is 150,000 and it’s 8-10 months
So you start off as an account executive and they teach you everything and train you but.. is it just sales that I’ll be doing? Because of so not for me
It honestly sounds like a scam to me
Any experience on this type of work? Tips?
